i liked kiaras, i was drawn to it because the back ground was elevated as if it was a book with a hidden compartment inside and i found it refreshing in relation to mine as well as some of the others because every one elevated there dots but not the texture

Quilt

the quilt was made by hand and it appears to have a dimond shape that ripples out as if it where a rain drop on a lake, but if u look closser the "ripples" reveal a whole different intrecit design under laying the obvious one ... as if there was first an ellaberate quilt that had been reedone over with a more simple design but some one found the cool one on the inside and cut out a design to show every one else

Panting

the painting appears to be of the artist studio or living space or both. there is a lamp on the ground providing light to his work space where it appears that plant in the panting is leeping off the canvis. also in the back ground here is a chrack in the wall and spray paoint or perhaps he was mixing his paints on the wall to get his colors just right. also the canvis it self is made from an old window pane and scrap wood

Seeing Spots

After making 40 gestial dot art pieces i felt a bit "creatively drained" but now that i have sketched out some ideas for the text back grounds i am more excited to see how my ideas pan outthe group critiquing my work
